Engraved
This collection draws from the visual language of the Chinese seal script, developed during the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BCE). Each piece features hand-carved characters and patterns adapted from historical bronze seals and stone inscriptions. The seal script elements represent concepts like "prosperity," "harmony," and "longevity." The characters are carved into the clay before firing, creating subtle variations in each piece's surface. These functional works bridge the 2,200-year gap between seal script's origins and contemporary dining.
